Namaste and Welcome, i am Palden Tamang

I began my Himalayan journey over three decades ago. Specifically, I started as a porter, progressed to a sherpa, and eventually became an expedition leader. Over the years, I have climbed peaks like Annapurna IV, Island Peak, Mera Peak, Chulu, and Pisang Peak multiple times. For instance, this includes the successful 1992 ascent of Annapurna IV with a Korean team. Additionally, I have guided Belgian groups across Tibet. Through these various experiences, I developed strong technical expertise and deep knowledge of the Himalayas.

Furthermore, I have served many more trekkers from various corners of the globe. In particular, I have led groups from France, Switzerland, Belgium, the UK, the USA, and Bhutan. As a result of these diverse global connections, I understand the unique needs and expectations of trekkers from all over the world.

For more than 30 years, I have guided trekkers across Nepal’s most iconic and remote regions. My experience spans from Everest and Annapurna to the wild landscapes of Far West Nepal. In particular, I have led journeys to Rara Lake, Api Base Camp, Khaptad, and Saipal Base Camp. By doing so, I have been able to share both adventure and authentic Himalayan culture with the world.

Why I Established Dudhkunda Adventure Treks?

After 13 years of leading expeditions and 30 years of guiding, I saw a critical need for higher industry standards. In fact, I noticed many travelers in Nepal face challenges due to substandard operations. Often, existing services fail to match the high standards and investment guests deserve. For example, trekkers frequently suffer from rushed itineraries and poor acclimatization. As a result, these gaps diminish the true beauty of the Himalayan experience.

Therefore, to provide a superior standard of excellence, I assembled a team of specialists. I founded Dudhkunda Adventure Treks & Expedition  in 2020 with a clear mission.To  achieve this goal, we ensure seamless support through our administrative team and field experts. Our team manages everything from intricate logistics to professional high-altitude guidance. Consequently, this ensures your journey is safe, reliable, and truly memorable. Furthermore, we provide detailed planning and expert coordination for every journey you take with us.

Additionally, we design comfort-focused tea house experiences with great care. Our team uses expert insight to manage pacing and acclimatization effectively. Similarly, we use our local knowledge to select quality lodges and share genuine hospitality. Throughout the trek, we remain attuned to your needs with constant support. Indira Tamang is the Managing Director of Dudhkunda Adventure Treks.

She handles the administration of all trekking and climbing operations. With her leadership, our team provides safe and well-organized Himalayan adventures.

As the International Operational Director for Dudhkunda Adventure Treks, Gyalgen Tamang is the strategic force behind our global reach and operational success. With a deep understanding of the adventure tourism industry in Nepal , he is specializes in building international business partnerships and driving sustainable growth in the trekking sector.

I’m Nima Tamang, a seasoned mountaineering and trekking guide.

In 1997, I conquered Manaslu at 8163m. The pinnacle came in 2001 with Everest’s 8848m summit. Shishapangma followed in 2007 at 8013m, and in 2011, I stood atop Ama Dablam.

I have always been fond of such mountaineering activity and will always keep my heads up for more adventures like these. Each ascent is a testament to my passion and commitment to the majestic world of mountaineering.

Greetings, I’m Dawa Tamang, hailing from the breathtaking landscapes of Solukhumbu, born in 1979. Currently stationed in Kapan, Kathmandu, I carry the badge of a trekking enthusiast and guide.

I’ve treaded the Nepali trails for a solid 15 years, soaking in the beauty of our diverse terrains. Over the past 6 years, I’ve served as a trekking guide, leading expeditions through renowned routes like Annapurna Circuit, Manaslu Circuit, Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, Ghorepani Poon Hill, Mera Trek and Peak, Iceland Peak, and conquering the challenging Ama Lapcha Pass.

I am proficient in wide range of language; specially English, French, Korean and Hindi.

I’m Pemba Sherpa, a mountain enthusiast born in 1980 in Kerung village of Solukhumbu, and currently residing near Ram Mandir in Kapan.

Over the past 14 years, I’ve not only navigated the heights as a trekking and mountaineering guide but also etched my mark on some of the most iconic peaks. From reaching 7200m on Mt Everest in 2011 to summiting Mt Thapa Peak and Mt Pisang Peak, conquering Mt Everest at 7500m in 2016, scaling Mt Manaslu at 6800m in 2017, to standing tall on the summit of Mt Aconcagua twice in 2019. These are few of my more than 50+ mountaineering expedition.

Beyond the heights, I bring qualities of dedication, hard work, and effective communication to the table. These traits, coupled with my love for the mountains, make me not just a guide but a companion on your journey through the breathtaking landscapes and challenges our renowned peaks present.
