Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your comfortable hotel as per our service.
The trek starts by taking an early drive via bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which takes roughly 6 to 7 hours. Along the way, we will cross three different districts, Dhading, Chitwan, and Tanahun, and then reach Pokhara, which lies in the Kaski district. During the drive, we will enjoy the stunning views of Nepalese countryside villages and the mountain scenery.
Upon reaching Pokhara, we start moving towards Dhampus, our destination for the day. About 30 minutes of drive from Pokhara takes us to Phedi, where we start hiking. 3 to 4 hours of trekking takes us to Dhampus (1694 m), where we stay overnight in a lodge
Our trek continues to Landruk (1,565m) for the day. Sights of rhododendron forests and different species of birds along the way make our journey even more exciting. As we ascend to the higher altitude, we see beautiful scenery of mountains and hills. We stay here overnight.
We will follow a steep trail high above the river for the day. The route will comprise bamboo forests and farmlands.
This strenuous climb of about 6 to 7 hours takes us to Chhomrong (2,170 m), a beautiful Gurung village, which has in store for us the exciting views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchre. We rest here for the day.
From Chhomrong, we start a downhill trail and climb up to Sinwa again. After lunch at Sinwa, we follow a comparatively easy trail and reach Bamboo (2,310 m), a place that got its name due to the presence of dense bamboo forests. The whole trek takes approximately 4 to 5 hours. We stay at Bamboo overnight and rejuvenate for the next day.
The trail mostly follows an uphill climb until we reach the Hinku cave. After that, we descend until we reach Deurali at an elevation of 3,230 m. It normally takes 3 to 4 hours to complete the hike and reach the destination. We stay here overnight.
The steep uphill climb of 5 to 6 hours takes us to the ultimate destination of our trek, the Annapurna Base Camp. The base camp lies at an altitude of 4130 m above sea level.
Along the way to the ABC, we also encounter Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700 m). Here, we enjoy the spectacular views of Mount Annapurna and Machhapuchre and many neighboring hills and valleys. We stay around the ABC for the night.
After soaking in the breathtaking Himalayan views from Annapurna Base Camp, we begin our descent toward Dovan. The trail takes us through Machapuchare Base Camp, Deurali, and Himalaya, offering continued views of the majestic mountains and surrounding landscapes. The downhill trek takes approximately 6–7 hours, with breaks along the way for tea and lunch. After reaching Dovan, we relax and enjoy a peaceful evening before spending the night at a comfortable teahouse.
Today, we retrace our steps back to Chhomrong from Dovan. The trail involves approximately 6–7 hours of uphill trekking through beautiful forested landscapes and mountain terrain. As we ascend, we enjoy the peaceful surroundings and stunning views of the Annapurna region. Upon reaching Chhomrong, we take time to rest and relax at the teahouse, preparing ourselves for the next day’s trekking adventure.
After leaving Chhomrong, we descend through the scenic trail via Kimrong Danda towards Ghandruk (1,940 m), one of the most beautiful Gurung villages in the Annapurna region. The 9.8-kilometer downhill journey takes approximately 4–5 hours and offers stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, including Annapurna Mountain Range, Machapuchare (Fishtail Mountain), and Dhaulagiri. Upon reaching Ghandruk, we explore the traditional village, experience the warm Gurung hospitality, and enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery before spending the night at a comfortable teahouse.
Among all the days, this will be the easiest and shortest trek, which can be completed in just 2 to 3 hours. The trail mostly comprises flatlands with the occasional uphill trail. Along the way, we can experience rhododendron forests, mountains, and dense forests. We spend the day at Tadapani (2,630m) sightseeing and stay overnight.
We leave Tadapani and start our uphill trail to Ghorepani (2840 m). We indulge ourselves in the exotic lifestyles that we encounter along the way. We eventually reach Ghorepani, where we get a close-up view of Mount Annapurna. Our overnight stay will be at Ghorepani.
We begin our trek early in the morning with a rewarding hike to Poon Hill to witness a breathtaking Himalayan sunrise. After a scenic 45-minute uphill climb, we reach the viewpoint at an elevation of 3,210 meters, where we enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, we take time to capture the unforgettable landscapes before descending back to Hile. After reaching Hile, we relax and rest for the day, preparing for the next stage of our adventure.
We descend from Hile towards Nayapul, following a scenic downhill trail that takes around 4–5 hours. Nayapul is the traditional starting point of the Annapurna trekking route and marks the end of our walking journey. From Nayapul, we take a scenic 1.5–2-hour drive to Pokhara, the beautiful lakeside city known as the gateway to the Annapurna region. Upon arrival, we have time to relax, explore the streets, and shop for souvenirs or any necessary items before resting and enjoying a well-deserved break after our Himalayan adventure.
Today is the final day of the trek. We have experienced all the scenic beauty of nature and exchanged smiles with the villagers along the trek. We bid goodbye to the mountains and lush green forest. Now our journey to Kathmandu starts via tourist-standard bus or flight. We will enjoy the evening in Kathmandu visiting local markets. We will clear the night at the hotel as per the booking.

Important exceptions
There are no mandatory vaccination requirements for travel to Nepal. However, travelers are advised to ensure recommended vaccinations such as polio, tetanus, diphtheria, typhoid, and hepatitis A are up-to-date. Malaria risk is limited to certain low‑lying regions, including areas such as Chitwan; travelers visiting these areas should seek medical advice as needed. Dengue fever is present in some regions and is spread by daytime‑biting mosquitoes. As there is no routine vaccine or preventive medication for dengue, avoiding mosquito bites is the primary form of prevention. Many treks take place at high altitudes, where there is a risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS); while itineraries allow for acclimatization, symptoms can still occur and should be taken seriously.
Depending on your meal plan, breakfast is included throughout the trip. On trekking days, breakfast is provided as a set menu featuring local, high‑energy foods such as Tibetan bread, eggs, seasonal fruit, and tea or coffee. Any additional items must be ordered and paid for separately. Lunch and dinner are not included at the same teahouses, giving you the flexibility to choose from lodge menus, which generally offer a good mix of local dishes like dal bhat and simple international food. We recommend avoiding meat on the trek due to hygiene and storage concerns. Please note that imported food and drinks are more expensive on the trail.
Staying well hydrated is essential when trekking, especially at altitude. Plan to drink 3- 4 liters of water per person per day.
To help reduce plastic pollution in Nepal’s trekking regions, we strongly discourage buying bottled water.
All teahouses can provide free cold water on request, but it must be treated before drinking. We recommend carrying a reusable bottle with a wide opening (e.g. Nalgene) and using a SteriPEN to purify your water. SteriPENs use UV light, are lightweight, battery powered, quick to use, and highly effective. They can be used on non‑boiled water as long as it is clear (which is usually the case). Most bottled water in trekking areas is UV‑treated anyway, making this the same technology without plastic waste.
Alternatively, teahouses sell boiled water for approximately Rs 150–300 per liter, with prices increasing at higher altitudes. This does not require treatment and is ideal for evening use, as it can also serve as a hot water bottle overnight.
While camping, boiled drinking water is provided.
Nepal’s main trekking season is October to mid‑May, offering generally clear skies, stable conditions, and comfortable walking temperatures.
Temperatures
Trekking Seasons
Autumn (Mid‑September – November)
The best trekking season with clear skies, sunny days, and excellent mountain views. Nights at higher altitudes can fall to –10°C or lower.
Spring (March – May)
Warmer overall, especially at lower elevations (up to 35°C in Kathmandu). Some afternoon haze, but popular for blooming flowers and longer days.
High Altitude & Summit Conditions
Snow is possible on any trek. Summit days start very early (around 2:00 am) and can be extremely cold, with temperatures as low as –25°C including wind chill. Strong winds may occur.
Mountain weather is always unpredictable, so proper clothing and flexibility are essential.
Have all the necessary details and essentials in place for a safe and pleasant trip.
Camera (or ensure your smartphone is charged and protected from cold)

Universal travel adapter
Solar charger (optional but useful)
