Arrive at Kathmandu the capital city of Nepal. Upon your arrival you will be provided with comfortable hotel room as per our service.
Our first day starts at Kathmandu and ends at Dhampus (1694 m). A bus ride of approximately 230 km will take you from Kathmandu to Dhampus, which normally takes about 6.5 to 7 hours. We spend our first night here.
Our trek continues to Landruk (1900 m) via Potana and Deurali. Sights of rhododendron forestsand different species of birds along the way make our journey even more exciting. As we ascend to the higher altitude, we get to see beautiful sceneries of mountains and hills. We stay here overnight.
For the day, we will be following a steep trail, high above the river. The route will comprise of Bamboo forests and farmlands. This strenuous climb of about 6 to 7 hours takes us to Chemrong (2040 m), a beautiful Gurung village, which has in store for us the exciting views of Annapurna
south and Machhapuchre. We rest here for the day.
Ghandruk (1940 m), the next Gurung village along our route welcomes us with its spectacular views of Mount Annapurna, Machhapuchre, and Dhaulagiri, to name a few. 4 to 5 hours of climbing down from Chomrong via Kimrong Danda takes us to Ghandruk, which is at a distance of 9.8 kilometers from Chomrong. We spend the night here.
Among all the days, this will be the easiest and shortest trek, which can be completed in just 3 to 4 hours. The trail mostly comprises of flatlands with the occasional uphill trail. Along the way, we can experience rhododendron forests, mountains, and dense forests. We spend the day at
Tadapani (2170 m) sightseeing and stay overnight.
We leave Tadapani and start our uphill trail to Ghorepani (2840 m). We indulge ourselves in the exotic lifestyles that we encounter along the way. We eventually reach Ghorepani, where we get a close-up view of Mount Annapurna. Our overnight stay will be at Ghorepani.
45 minutes of the uphill climb takes us to Poon Hill (3210 m). Our trek will start early in the morning as we aim to see the famous sunrise from the top of Poon Hill.
For our eighth day of the trek, we follow a new trail to reach Hile, which will be our stopping
point for the day.
Descending downhill from hile for roughly about 4 to 5 hours, we reach Nayapul, the place of commencement of the trek if an alternative route was followed. Upon reaching Nayapul, we take a 1.5 to 2 hours bus ride and reach Pokhara. We shop for some items in Pokhara and rest for the day.
Our 10 days trekking ends as we fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara via flight, which takes approximately 45 minutes.
