First, you will visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world’s largest Buddhist shrines. Here, you can observe monks chanting prayers in the monasteries surrounding the magnificent stupa while pilgrims walk peacefully around it, spinning prayer wheels.

Next, you will continue to Pashupatinath Temple, the country’s most sacred Hindu temple, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. At this revered site, you may witness Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims performing ritual baths, and traditional cremation ceremonies taking place on the ghats.

Afterward, you will explore the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, home to ancient palaces, intricately carved temples, and the residence of the Living Goddess, Kumari, who is regarded as the divine protector of the valley.
