Arrive at Kathmandu the capital city of Nepal. Upon your arrival you will be provided with comfortable hotel room as per our service.
Our first day starts at Kathmandu and ends at Dhampus. A bus ride of approximately 230 km will take you from Kathmandu to Dhampus, which normally takes about 6.5 to 7 hours. We spend our first night here.
For our second day, we will be trekking from Dhampus (1650 m above sea level) to Tolka at 1947 m. It usually takes over 5 to 6 hours to reach here. We will settle here for the day and view some mesmerizing natural sceneries.
Descending from Tolka to 1800 m (above sea level) takes us to Jhinu Danda, a small village which is also a stopover along the route that leads to the Annapurna Base Camp. The availability of Jhinu hot springs around Modi Khola (River) will help settle all those tiredness accumulated from a long day trek.
A very short trek of about 8 km will take you to our first place of interest, Ghandruk, a very beautiful village in the Kaski district. Widely popular for the hospitality of Gurung people and majestic views of snowcapped mountain peaks, the memory of this place will surely remain in your mind for a very long time. We will stay overnight at Ghandruk.
Today, we trek from Ghandruk to Pokhara. For this, our transit point will be Nayapul, where we reach via trekking for around 5 hours. As we reach Nayapul, we take a bus or cab ride to Pokhara which commonly takes about 1.5 hours. The total distance to travel for this day is approximately 53 km. We stay at a hotel/lodge for the night.
Upon reaching the land of Phewa lake and Sarangkot hill (1600 m above sea level), we take at least a day to visit this city. First thing in the morning, we wake up and visit Sarangkot hill which is very famous for its early morning sunrise view. For the remaining day, we will be visiting Peace Pagoda to view the overall Pokhara valley. Similarly, boating in Phewa lake and spending the evening around the Begnas lake will be our priority.
After visiting the popular destinations of Pokhara city, we will move towards Chitwan. Approximately 84 km of bus ride from Pokhara takes us to Chitwan. Without much traffic and smooth drive, it usually takes 4 to 5 hours to complete this journey. After reaching Sauraha, Chitwan, we take rest for the day.
The major point of attraction for us in Chitwan will be Sauraha, where Chitwan National Park is located. This National Park has been listed as one of the world’s natural heritage lists of UNESCO. You will have the option to either take elephant safari, jeep safari or jungle safari to get acquainted with the wildlife of the area. Cycle riding is also one of the most popular ways to visit Sauraha and its neighboring villages. One-horned rhinoceros, a very rare species of rhinoceros is the major attraction among the tourists visiting here.
We continue with our previous day visit to the wild. Other than that, today we will also be indulged in boating experience in the Narayani-Rapti river. Canoeing is also the option available for interested candidates. Bird watching and elephant bathing is also a popular way of entertaining yourself in Sauraha. At night, you will get an opportunity to get acquainted with the local Tharu community by getting involved in the Tharu Cultural Show. We will spend the night at Sauraha.
On the last day of our tour/trek, we will be returning to Kathmandu from Chitwan which is just a 4.5 hours bus ride in case there are no traffic disturbances or any other sorts of problems on the way. The total distance between Chitwan and Kathmandu is about 170 Km via Prithivi Highway.
As the journey ends you will depart as we wish the best for your future endeavours.
