Itinerary

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY JOURNEY

Day 1

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted by our hospitality and the vibrant atmosphere of the city. You will be provided comfortable hotel for your stay as per our service.

Day 2

The second day introduces a flight from Kathmandu to lukla on a domestic airline. You will be able to enjoy the ride with a visible scenery of high mountains of Solukhumbu. As your trek continues, a scenic trek from lukla to phakding, reaching an elevation of 2610 meters. The trail unveils the natural beauty of the region, showcasing the diverse flora and fauna that thrive in the Himalayan terrain.

After landing at the airport we will take a rest and begin our trek to phakding.

Day 3

On the third day you will continue your trek to the next destination Namche Bazar. Your path will be filled with more exciting views and experiences like the view of Riverbanks, Suspension Bridges and the gateway to Sagarmatha National Park.

Day 4

Spend the day at Hotel Everest View. A very popular hotel that is also one of the highest placed hotel. Situated in  a perfect place from which to explore the nearby villages and enjoy the beautiful landscape filled with evergreen fir trees, shrubs and rhododendron forests.

Day 5

Dole lies in the Dudh Koshi River valley just north of  Khumjungat an altitude of 4038m .

Dole is often a stopping point for trekkers on their way to Gokyo via the Cho la route. Its primary function is to support the tourism industry and as such consists of a number of guesthouses.

Day 6

Day six involves a trek to the Machermo village. The trail unfolds with captivating scenery, providing a sense of accomplishment as you ascend to higher elevations. The Machermo village gives you an exposure to cultural richness and what a day to day life of a villager in high mountains look like.

Day 7

Continuing the ascent, day seven brings you from Chukung village to the Island Peak Camp at an elevation of 5200 meters. The trek challenges your endurance and rewards you with panoramic views, making each step a testament to your journey.

Day 8

On this day, You will summit the Gokyo Peak with maximum altitude of 5357 meter. Gokyo Peak or Gokyo Ri is a mountain that offers you the perfect Himalayan peak climbing experience. Standing tall at 5457 meter, one can reach the mountain’s summit from the Gokyo lake and return in one day.

You will head back to Dragnag, a small village located at the elavation of around 4700m. It’s also known as Thangnak or Thangnag.

Day 9

Resuming the trek, day 9 takes you from the Dragnag to the Dzognla village, a small village located at an altitude of approximately 15,850 feet. It’s situated on the ridge between Lobuche and Cho La pass, and is on the Gokyo trail. 

Dzongla has few teahouses. The Cho La summit pass connects Dzongla to the village of Thagnak to the west. The trail up the pass is a rocky uphill scramble

Day 10

You will trek down to Dhinbuche, a traditional Sherpa settlement and is known as the “Valley inside the Clouds”. Khumjung is located at an altitude of 3,790 meters  and is a popular detour on the Everest Base Camp trek. Attractions in Khumjung include the Everest Base Camp, Everest Base Camp Trek, and Imja Tse.

Day 11

On day 11 you will trek further to a Chukung village, a lodge village located at an elevation of 4730 meters.

Chukhung Ri is a trekking peak in the Everest region of the Solukhumbu district that’s located above Chukhung village. It’s classified as a group “A” category trekking peak. 
Day 12

Day Twelve involves a trek from Chukung Valley to Island Peak Base Camp, ascending to an elevation of 6,190 meters. Climbers should spend one night at the base camp before attempting to summit the peak.

Day 13

On day 13, you will summit Imja Tse, better known as Island Peak, a mountain named in 1953 by members of the British Mount Everest expedition because it appears as an island in a sea of ice when viewed from Dingboche.

As this magnificent mountain in the Imja Khola Valley is considered a practice peak for beginner mountaineers, you might be wondering how difficult this expedition will be. Although it is considered a training peak for beginners, Island Peak difficulty is at a ‘Moderately Difficult’ level.

After the summit you will head back to Chukung on the same day.

Day 14

After breakfast, you will descend from Chhukung and retrace the trail through the Imja Valley, passing through Dingboche and Pangboche villages. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, including Ama Dablam. Continuing through rhododendron forests and traditional Sherpa settlements, you will reach Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. Overnight at a lodge in Tengboche.

Day 15

After breakfast, descend through beautiful rhododendron and pine forests with stunning views of Ama Dablam and other Himalayan peaks. The trail passes through the villages of Deboche and Phunki Tenga before gradually descending to Namche Bazaar. From there, continue along the trail following the Dudh Koshi River and enter Sagarmatha National Park, eventually reaching the small riverside village of Jorsalle for an overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 16

After breakfast, continue trekking along the trail following the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges and passing through small Sherpa villages. You will pass through the gateway town of Namche Bazaar before descending to Monjo and Phakding. From there, the trail gradually ascends through forests and traditional settlements until you reach Lukla, marking the final day of your trek. Overnight at a lodge in Lukla.

Day 17

After an early breakfast, transfer to Tenzing–Hillary Airport for your scenic mountain flight to Kathmandu. The short flight offers spectacular aerial views of the Himalayan range and the landscapes below. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure for relaxation or exploration.

Day 18

As your unforgettable journey through the Himalayas comes to an end, day 20 marks your departure from Kathmandu. The memories of the breathtaking landscapes, challenging treks, and cultural richness will linger, making this a journey to remember.
