        The duration of this particular trek is 18 days. The trekking offers and exciting views of mountains and hills along with dense forests and waterfalls en route. It also helps us to get acquainted with typical Nepali village lifestyles, as we will be visiting different villages along the route. We experience windy Mustang and Manang trails as we reach Muktinath, a holy temple for both Hindus and Buddhists. While encircling the Annapurna Mountain range, we will have an opportunity to catch some amazing views of Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchre as well as many other mountain peaks.

      Itinerary

      1Day 1: Arrival at KTM

      Arrive at Kathmandu the capital city of Nepal. Upon your arrival you will be provided with comfortable hotel for your stay as per our service.

      2Day 2: Kathmandu to Jagat (via Jeep)

      The trek starts with you departing from Kathmandu via Jeep to Jagat, through Prithvi Highway, which approximately takes 6 hours. The distance between Kathmandu and Jagat bhanjyang is 150km.

      3Day 3: Jagat to Dharapani

      The destination for our 2nd-day trip is Dharapani, a beautiful village at the confluence of 2 rivers. The distance is 15km and takes approximately 8 hours of walk from Jagat.

      4Day 4: Dharapani to Chame

      For our 3rd day, our destination is Chame. Distance is 15.5km and takes around 4.5 hours to reach on foot. Here, we get to see stunning scenery as climbing to Timang through a beautiful pine forest. From Koto, we have a remarkable view of Annapurna 2 and Manaslu. At Chame, we enter the Buddhist place with chortens, mane’s walls, and prayer flags decorating the route. Nearby Chame is the head-quarter of Manang district and is has lodges, internet. Cafes, health posts, and banks

      5Day 5: Chame to Pisang

       

      On day 4, our journey starts from Chame to Pisang which is about 4.5 km. On foot, it takes over 5.5 hours and an elevation increase of 600m. During this hike, we cross several Gurung villages and lovely views of the Himalayan mountain chain spanning from Manaslu to Annapurna 2 await. From Chame first, we visit Bhuratang, the village which is famous on the trail for its apples. Due to the frosty winters, it is the perfect condition to grow apples here. Trekkers are fond to taste the apple pies here. Now from Bhuratang, we continue our journey to Dhukur Pokhari. We are amazed to see the beautiful Swarga dwari in the distance which is believed to be the gateway to heaven. Through Dhukur pokhari we cross the main road and 3 bridges and we arrive at upper Pisang. Pisang is livened with a panoramic view of mountains and crystal clear skies. It has a typical old heritage house in the Manang region. There we see large grassy fields and it’s a football ground for Pisang Youth Club. Nice view of the monastery and Mountains like Annapurna 12, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal can be seen. In the evening, we will reach the lodge in Pisang and stay overnight.

      6Day 6: Pisang to Nawal

      5th day of our trek starts from Upper Pisang to Nawal. It takes about 15 minutes via jeep to reach Nawal and 4-5 hours on foot. Nawal is a big village with lots of mane wall. The scenario we see from here is the Magnificient Mountains and clouds trying their level best to surprise us with its beauty.

      7Day 7: Nawal to Manang

      6th day of our trek continues to the destination towards Manang.  From Nawal, we will have to take an upper trekking route by crossing lovely villages of Ghyaru. We can see the yak grazing and the scalar chain of Annapurna 23, Gangapurna, Tilicho peak, Pisang peak, and Lamjung Himal. We come across the pine forest and Pasteur field which takes us to Braga where we meet the road that takes us to Manang. Manang, where we see stone entrance colorful chortens, monastery. Tibetan style house, culture, and landscape. The mountain seems glacial and perfectly textured. Trekking for around 4-5 hours and we finally reach our destination Manang which is located at the altitude of 3540m.

      8Day 8: Manang – acclimatization (change in altitude)

       

      So today is about acclimatization. We let our bodies rest and adjust to feel good so that we will have many options to explore. In the afternoon we shall hike shortly To Milarepa’s Cave across the river from Braga, a visit to “100 rupee Lama” at cave gompa or walk around Gangapurna Lake. 

       

       

      9Day 9: Manang to Ledar

      The 8th day of the journey continues our way towards the Ledar from Manang. Takes about 5-6 hours by walk and the way goes through Thorung la Pass, Khyangsar to yak kharka. Khyangsar is a Tibetan style village with an old monastery. We can enjoy a nice snow-capped Mountain View from here as well. We then cross the river again and follow towards yak kharka or Ledar where we stay overnight in the lodge.

      10Day 10: Learn to Phedi

      The 9th day of the trek continues towards the Thorung Phedi along the bank of Jarsang River. Phedi is at the altitude of 4410m. It is a short walk of 4-5 hours to reach Phedi. En-route we view yak pastures and some time travel ascending and descending the journey. Slowly, we move towards the bottom of the valley to save our breath.

      11Day 11: Phedi to Muktinath

      Today is the hard day for us as we will be crossing Thorung la pass 5416m, the highest point of our trek. However, the panoramic view has rewarded our effort. After having breakfast at Phedi, our journey continues to Muktinath. It will be 8-9 hours of walking to reach the destination. We also can get to view Gangapurna, Annapurna, and other peaks as well. After several ups and downs, we can reach Muktinath. Muktinath (3800m) is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists and Hindus, scared for its auspicious combination of earth, water, fire. Finally, for today we will take rest at Muktinath. 

       

       

      12Day 12: Muktinath to Kagbeni

      On the 11th day of our trek, departure will be in the early morning after we worship lord Vishnu at Muktinath. Then we will have breakfast and will proceed to Kagbeni.

      13Day 13: Kagbeni to Marpha

      Our journey continues as we head towards Marpha and the distance is 15.5km. It takes around 5-6 on foot and 2 hours by bus to reach Marpha. Marpha (2680m) is a village with cultural ethnicity where we get to witness the warm hospitality of Thakali people. While crossing Marpha village we can discover the glorified scenario of snow-capped Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges, lush green forests, blue rivers, and many more jaw-dropping beauties. En-route we get to talk to the villagers of how they are living their life, rearing animals, helping trekkers and tourists. And after that, we will have a taste of local food which will be worth remembering. The most popular food of Marpha is Apple pie.

      14Day 14: Marpha to Lette

      For today our destination is Lette. This is a short walk of about 2-3 hours from Marpha. We can view Samten Chhyoling Monastery at the top of Marpha village. Moving forward to Lette we get to see the village beautifully decorated by the bountiful apple trees. Lette has tea shops with branded brandy and wine made of apple.

       

       

      15Day 15: Lette to Tatopani

      On the 14th day of our trek, we will have early morning breakfast and head towards Tatopani. It takes around 5 hours on foot to the down on the bank of Kaligandaki River. In the evening we will have local food “dhido” and rest in the lodge of Tatopani.

      16Day 16: Tatopani to Ghorepani

       

      On day 15, we are ready to climb uphill to reach on Ghorepani trek 7-8 hours. We will pass several Brahmin and Magar villages as Shikha, Ghara, Chitre, and other little villages as well. Shikha (1500m) is the biggest Magar villages in the Myagdi District of Nepal. Rice farm evergreen scenery of beautiful Magar villages head towards Ghorepani and stay overnight at lodge. 

       

       

      17Day 17: Ghorepani to Tirkhedhunga

      Our journey continues to Tirkhedhunga, a part of Poon hill trek in the early morning on sunrise viewing time. This is the busiest viewpoint of Nepal. The trek distance is 13km and on foot, it takes approx. 7 hours to reach Tirkhedhunga through Ulleri, Banthanti, and Nangge thanti. En route we can view the infamous steep stairs, dominated by horses through most of the trail, the trek will be more tranquil. We will pass through the picturesque “mountain” villages and hilly settlements. Finally, in the evening we will be resting in Lodges after reaching Tirkhedhunga.

      18Day 18: Tirkhedhunga to Pokhara

      On day 17, we move trek down to Nayapul and a 1-hour drive to Pokhara. The distance between Nayapul and Tirkhedhunga via the trek route is 17km. Here we stay overnight at the Hotel.

      19Day 19: Pokhara to Kathmandu

      Kathmandu city

      Today is the final day of the trek. We have experienced all the scenic beauty of nature and exchanged smiles with the villagers along the trek. We bid goodbye to the mountains and lush green forest. Now our journey to Kathmandu starts via tourist standard bus or flight. We will enjoy the evening at Kathmandu visiting local markets. We will clear the night at Hotel as per booking.
